It is fantastic to see state governments come to the aid of services providing emergency financial assistance, however, this journey is going to be long term so changes to SRSS guidelines and access to Centrelink and medical care is critical for people seeking asylum.
this is most definitely coming up on our area and is of concern around trust building for heal and other government agencies
this will have an huge impact on testing
The price-hikes in PPE are relatively-easy to understand from an Economic perspective; my point would be that in a context where a global-society approach has had positive impacts, why can’t we show the profiteering for what it is - a moral outrage?

I have been trying to communicate and connect with our health departments to indicate that there is a high likelihood of under reflection of Covid numbers in our area for this reason alone of trust issues

Unfortunately CV-19 will be putting a spotlight on economic inequalities, the great divide, globally and here in OZ. Our refugee and migrant populations might end up bearing the brunt from the economic fallout.
